Who is Noam Chomsky?

Famous for his political positions, Noam Chomsky is one of the few voices that, today, deserves the qualification of intellectual. Researcher, philosopher, linguist, political scientist, critic, and many other things, will turn 90 on December 7.

Originally from Philadelphia, he was born on December 7, 1928. Both parents were Judeo-Christian immigrants. He received his doctorate in 1955. Two years later, with only 29 years old, he revolutionized the field of linguistics with the publication of Syntactic Structures.
