Phenomenology Paul Ricoeur

One of the crucial moments in phenomenology has been Paul Ricoeur.
The philosopher, in 1957 exposed in a radio broadcast on 12/18/1957 how the thought of Edmund Husserl, had marked a break in the history of philosophy.
The broadcast was called “The Knowledge of Man: The Phenomenology” by Paul Ricoeur.
In 1957, seven years after the publication of the translation into French of the founding book of Husserl, Ideas Pertaining to a Pure Phenomenology and to a Phenomenological Philosophy, Paul Ricoeur exposed how the thought of this German philosopher had marked a break in the history of the philosophy.
Having put aside the realism of objects and the idealism of consciousness, the Husserlian phenomenology brought to light this fertile paradox: “there is no world except an awareness, and yet consciousness is not creative, and yet: I am in the world.”
